Tamari coated almonds and seeds
Tamari is a wheat-free form of soy sauce. Soy sauce can be used instead, but tamari has a more mellow flavour.

|¼ cup||Sunflower seeds|
|¼ cup||Pumpkin seeds|
|¼ cup||Tamarind sauce|
|½ tsp||Cayenne pepper|
|1 tsp||Brown sugar|
- Preheat oven to 180 degC.
- Place almonds and seeds in a bowl, pour over tamari sauce, cayenne pepper and brown sugar. Set aside for 30 minutes
- Place the nuts and seeds on a baking tray and cook for 10 minutes until golden, tossing at times so that they cook evenly.
- Serve nuts warm or cold.
