Fresh fig salad with black forest ham, walnuts and radicchio 23/3/2011 Amanda Laird Your Rating: Ratings: No ratings yet Make a Comment Add to Favourites 1 Serves 4 Print Vinaigrette 250 ml Olive oil 1 clove Garlic, (crushed) ½ cup Red wine vinegar 2 tsp Dijon mustard ½ tsp Brown sugar ½ tsp Salt 1 Freshly ground black pepper Ingredients 4 Figs 8 slices Ham, (black forest if available or parma) ½ cup Walnuts, (lightly toasted) 200 g Blue cheese 3 cups Salad leaves, (including radicchio) 1 to serve Bread + Add to shopping list Directions To make the vinaigrette - whisk the ingredients together and taste for seasoning. Store in an airtight jar until ready to use. Slice the figs and arrange on a platter with the ham, greens, walnuts and blue cheese. Drizzle with the red wine vinaigrette and serve with crusty bread.
