These are fantastically moreish and will work with most fresh nuts. They are served regularly with festive drinks at Warren’s place.

|300 g||Fresh pecans, (or your preferred mixture of fresh nuts)|
|1 tbsp||Olive oil|
|¼ tsp||Chilli powder, (more if you like it hot)|
|½ tsp||Flaky sea salt|
|1 to taste||Freshly ground black pepper|
- Heat the oven to 180 degC. Fry the nuts in oil over a low heat. Add chili powder, salt, a good grind of pepper, and honey.
- Cook over a low heat to combine, then roast in the oven for 15-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
- Remove, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and break into pieces once cool. Store in an airtight container if they last that long.
